Coaches play an important role in both the sporting and everyday lives of their players. It’s important for Netball coaches to have an inclusive and balanced outlook to coaching and know how to develop effective relationships.
Umpires are integral to playing Netball and help facilitate a flowing, enjoyable game for everyone. The approach umpires take plays a large part in the success of the game.
This is your chance to be a part of the Stripes to Stars Coach and/or Umpire Journey to become certified as a USA Netball Coach or Umpire.
This is your opportunity to get in at the grass roots level and develop American netball players, both youth and adults. We are looking for people who are interested in coaching teachers, other coaches and young people. You don’t need any netball experience - we will guide you every step of the way. If you’re already an experienced coach, there are opportunities to coach our high-performance teams too.

Making quick decisions, developing rapport with the players, and controlling the game are key aspects of umpiring. We have a framework for officials at all levels to understand the requirements, procedures and processes involved in umpiring Netball in the USA. The variety of playing levels requires USA Netball umpires to exhibit a positive attitude and a kind nature to help develop players.
