DESCRIPTION:SPORT HAS THE POWER TO UNITE THE WORLD \nConnecting Cultures. Building Communities. Inspiring Peace Through Netball. \nThe 2026 U.S. Open Netball Championships® is about far more than sport. It is an opportunity to bring people\, cultures\, and countries together through the universal language of sport. \nAt Netball America\, we believe that when people play together\, learn together\, and share their cultures\, they build understanding\, respect\, and connections that extend far beyond the court. Through sports diplomacy\, we are using netball to create meaningful connections between nations\, inspire the next generation\, and demonstrate how sport can contribute to a more inclusive and connected world. \n🌎 Bringing the World Into American Schools \nOur commitment to cultural exchange begins well before the first whistle. \nDuring the week of October 26\, we will bring Australian and British sporting culture to approximately 170 young people in Orlando\, Florida\, creating opportunities for students to experience new perspectives through sport\, education\, and shared experiences. \nThe following week\, as part of our U.S. Open Netball Championships® lead-up activities\, Australian and British teams will join more than 20 volunteers to introduce netball and their cultures to over 600 students in Henderson\, Nevada. Through interactive PE classes and cultural activities\, American students will have the opportunity to connect with international athletes\, discover different traditions\, and learn about the values of teamwork\, respect\, inclusion\, and global citizenship. \nThese experiences demonstrate that sport can be a powerful educational tool—opening minds\, building friendships\, and helping young people see the world beyond their own communities. \nInquiries for sponsorship can be directed to Info@NetballAmerica.com.
