DESCRIPTION:This in-person event is bringing world class presenters right to your doorstep here in the USA.   We’ve structured the weekend to include interactive workshops\, training\, testing\, mentoring and game play.  The sessions cater to athletes\, umpires\, PE teachers and coaches from beginners to advanced and you will have opportunities to break into groups and select workshop topics you’re interested in.  Even if your sport is basketball\, volleyball or soccer\, there will be workshops you can learn from.  \nDOWNLOAD THE FULL INFORMATION PACK HERE. \nHere’s a sample of what you and your team will experience:\nGetting current on new skills\, drills and warm-up techniques international athletes and coaches are using.\nShowing up on competition day physically and mentally prepared and decision making under pressure.\nCoaches and umpires\, whether brand new or experienced will receive mentoring and assessments and will start on their certification journey.\nGoal shooting\, midcourt and defensive strategies\, and how to adjust against different types of players.\nTeams coming in will get to play Netball games and depending on teams a mini round robin event.\nBuilding a victorious team culture\, dealing with losses and adjusting for different game lengths.\nAI analysis assessments on your fitness and agility skills and compete against others for prizes. \nDates and Times:  Saturday August 23rd\, starting at 11.30am and finishing Sunday August 24th at 11.30am (the American Netball Team® will continue training until 2pm).\nLocation: For those flying in Charlotte (CLT) airport will be the closest (venue is 25 minutes from the airport). \nHotels: Two cost effective options free breakfast/pool: Spark by Hilton book here and Tru by Hilton coming soon.\nThe event is technically South Carolina; however\, it’s only 25 minutes south from the Charlotte airport and just across the North Carolina state border. \nThe cost to attend is $149 per person\, which includes meals\, snacks and drinks during the event at the courts\, as well as access the workshops by world class presenters. She is also one of Australia’s leading high-performance coaches\, with experience across state\, national\, and international levels\, including elite roles with Perth Orioles and West Coast Fever\, where she currently serves as Skills Coach. \nA former Australian Institute of Sport athlete\, she has led teams to historic success\, including guiding Singapore to its highest-ever world ranking and winning a national title with WA’s U21 team. \nA member of the World Netball Coaching Advisory Panel\, she is a respected international presenter known for developing athletes and driving performance. \nPre-registraton is required using the link in this calendar.

SUMMARY:USA Women's University Netball Team Trials
DESCRIPTION:As we celebrate 15 years of the American Netball Team’s® growth\, global achievements\, and the countless opportunities created along the way\, we reflect on how this journey became a defining chapter in American Netball history. For the first time in the USA’s 40+ year history of having Netball played here\, a team made up entirely of American citizens stepped onto the global stage in 2012 at the World University Netball Championships in South Africa\, marking a milestone moment for the sport in the United States\, all thanks to the hard work by Netball America®. \nExcited to bring on Eliza Morgan from one of UK’s Premier League Netball Franchise Teams who will lead the team! \nWe are proud to reignite the USA University Netball Program—building on a legacy where the USA Women’s University Netball Team proudly earned a world university ranking of #6 and establishing a strong foundation for elite athlete development.  The male program will launch in 2027. \nThe first tournament will see the team compete August 29 & 30 2026 at the UK Fire 5 tournament. After registering for the team\, you will be invited to trial for the team.  You can participate in in-person or virtual trials.  Due to the dual citizens we have living in the UK planning to attend USA colleges in 2026 and beyond AND given the event is in the UK\, we are hosting in person trials there.
