USA Women’s University Netball Team Trials

As we celebrate 15 years of the American Netball Team’s® growth, global achievements, and the countless opportunities created along the way, we reflect on how this journey became a defining chapter in American Netball history. For the first time in the USA’s 40+ year history of having Netball played here, a team made up entirely of American citizens stepped onto the global stage in 2012 at the World University Netball Championships in South Africa, marking a milestone moment for the sport in the United States, all thanks to the hard work by Netball America®.
Excited to bring on Eliza Morgan from one of UK’s Premier League Netball Franchise Teams who will lead the team!
We are proud to reignite the USA University Netball Program—building on a legacy where the USA Women’s University Netball Team proudly earned a world university ranking of #6 and establishing a strong foundation for elite athlete development. The male program will launch in 2027.
The first tournament will see the team compete August 29 & 30 2026 at the UK Fire 5 tournament. After registering for the team, you will be invited to trial for the team. You can participate in in-person or virtual trials. Due to the dual citizens we have living in the UK planning to attend USA colleges in 2026 and beyond AND given the event is in the UK, we are hosting in person trials there. For the USA we will coordinate with members in the various regions or individuals can submit virtual trials.

Trial fee must be paid for registration.
Eligibility
* Holds USA citizenship, US Passport or Green Card and is currently in, or planning to attend, a USA university
* 16 and above for Fire5 tournament
* Female (male athlete opportunities will be announced in due course)
* Athletes applying MUST fulfill these criteria:
UK: Have been at least a part of a County U15 PDP program and/or any franchise PDP or Academy program;
International: Have competed in a regional and/or national level;

Dates: 27th and 28th June 2026 (each trialist will only need to attend one day unless notified otherwise)
Time: 11:00 am onwards (slots will be communicated)
