USA Coach, Umpire & Athlete Training Weekend
August 23 @ 11:30 am - August 24 @ 12:00 pm
This in-person event is bringing world class presenters right to your doorstep here in the USA. We’ve structured the weekend to include interactive workshops, training, testing, mentoring and game play. The sessions cater to athletes, umpires, PE teachers and coaches from beginners to advanced and you will have opportunities to break into groups and select workshop topics you’re interested in. Even if your sport is basketball, volleyball or soccer, there will be workshops you can learn from.

Here’s a sample of what you and your team will experience:
Getting current on new skills, drills and warm-up techniques international athletes and coaches are using.
Showing up on competition day physically and mentally prepared and decision making under pressure.
Coaches and umpires, whether brand new or experienced will receive mentoring and assessments and will start on their certification journey.
Goal shooting, midcourt and defensive strategies, and how to adjust against different types of players.
Teams coming in will get to play Netball games and depending on teams a mini round robin event.
Building a victorious team culture, dealing with losses and adjusting for different game lengths.
AI analysis assessments on your fitness and agility skills and compete against others for prizes.
Dates and Times: Saturday August 23rd, starting at 11.30am and finishing Sunday August 24th at 11.30am (the American Netball Team® will continue training until 2pm).
Location: For those flying in Charlotte (CLT) airport will be the closest (venue is 25 minutes from the airport).
Hotels: Two cost effective options free breakfast/pool: Spark by Hilton book here and Tru by Hilton coming soon.
The event is technically South Carolina; however, it’s only 25 minutes south from the Charlotte airport and just across the North Carolina state border.
The cost to attend is $149 per person, which includes meals, snacks and drinks during the event at the courts, as well as access the workshops by world class presenters. It will also include transport to/from the courts to the event hotel if you booked through the link above.
4 WAYS TO GET A DISCOUNT TO THIS EVENT:
1. $99 for the weekend: Be a Netball America® member and receive a $50 discount to only pay $99 for this weekend event. Individuals register and pay the $10 annual membership here. Clubs to email Info@NetballAmerica.com.
2. $49 for the weekend: Be an American Netball Team® registered participant and a Netball America® member. This costs $50 and you can register here. Upon registration you will then receive the member discount of $50 and the American Team discount of $50, to pay only $49 for this weekend event. [American Netball Team® participants to register through your American Netball Team® leagueapps portal, not this one].
3. $49 for the weekend: Have signed up and paid the $49 registration to one of the My Netball Academy online courses to only pay $49 to attend this weekend (see instructions below).
4. FREE for the weekend: Have signed up for both the rules/umpire and coaching pathway development and testing packages for $120 (that includes both courses and equipment), you’ll receive free entry to the event. Instructions to access the online My Netball Academy Training:
